Know How:

I've worked with dozens of photographers in a wide variety of niches from every major US market in studio and on location, including broadcast projects & key art shoots for Fox, Discovery & HGTV.

For Digiteching:

I am fluent with Capture One Pro on Mac & PC, I also retouch in Photoshop, use Helicon Focus for focus stacking & have a premium Zoom membership for client convenience.

I use Samsung Evo 980 Pro hard drives (they're small, extremely fast & handle heat well) and a 2022 Mac Studio Max on location, with 2 4k monitors and can provide an M1 iPad. For wireless broadcast & client convenience, I use Hollyland Mars 400' which will get picture up on a monitor + 4 devices (phones/tablets) wirelessly.

Backup power on my cart is a 1500whr Bluetti electric generator with solar panel connection.

Since we're switching between USB 3, USB-C & Thunderbolt, I have an array of adapters and cables to accommodate any connectivity issues we may encounter on set.

I grew up learning to build PC's with my dad at age 8 while he worked as an IT technician. I was installing them at client sites in middle school and

high school and troubleshooting connectivity issues at a professional level. This really created a solid base for me as a DigiTech at a young age, as I learned in-depth about data security, filetypes, folder structure, and how to make things fast & reliable.

I've been using Mac for nearly 10 years, since 2013.

My cart is a Pro Aim which is equivalent to the common Inovativ carts.

I've worked with artists in the following focuses: Still Life, Industrial, Automotive, Sports, Adventure, Lifestyle, Hospitality, Catalogue, Editorial, Fashion/Beauty, Food, Interior Design, Architectural & Key Art.

Kit familiarity:

Broncolor, Profoto, Dynalite, Paul C. Buff, Normans, Orlit, Flashpoint/Godox & Elinchrom, with a variety of monolights, packs, heads and transmitters/receivers.

My hot light knowledge goes up to ARRI M18's & 2K's. I've been around the 18k's but haven't set them up personally. Aputure, Fiilex & Joker are some other platforms I have experience with. I use Setwear Hot Hands gloves when needed.

My grip knowledge is solid, from flying 20-by's on speedrails with Mombo Combos to rigging speedrails for underslung Leko's.

I've focus pulled with TerraDeck, Small HD & Tilta Nucleus-M and have used Gold Mount, D-Tap & V-Mount battery setups.

My education comes from immense self study as I have always learned best out of the classrom, light testing, working with and learning from dozens of photographers in many niches over the course of my freelance career.

I've always asked questions and admitted what I don't know.

I have no college education. I was homeschooled which allowed me to shoot through high school and begin assisting a few years after graduating. I left the bands/events/weddings world soon after high school, took a corporate job I hated and quit when I discovered the incredible world of high end commercial/advertising photography and assisting around 2015/16. I worked multiple part time jobs as my freelance career picked up for the first year or two of my career as an assist.

Since then, I've learned by the school of hard knocks and through mentorship from the incredible artists I've assisted and Tech'd for.

Once I learned Capture One, I began troubleshooting on set and quickly discovered my aptitude for DigiTech work. I began talking to Techs and learning from them, then I began studying some of the world's best tech's writeups through DigiTech specific web forums as I grew my kit and skillset.
